I’ve got the entire series of bills from the 1 to the 50 from 1959. And I have a collection of nickels from 1939 to 1945. You see them dump the beaver for the V-for-Victory, and then for two years they were copper like a penny.

I have a bad story about coins and strippers. Years ago a few guy I know went to Montreal and sat in perv row, and the strippers were catching coins in the cleaves. They heated coins up with a lighter then threw them at the stripper to catch…Well you can imagine how that ended.

@jessica Actually, most of your bills aren’t just green, they are very similar to the one above, ie. green on one side and having grey or black print on the other, hence the comparison. It’s not an exact thing obv bc yeah, we rock the queen and you rock dead presidents.
I believe she only compared our old ones to any American money at all is because our dollars tend to be brightly coloured, not the standard green and black.
Well, U.S. money is kind of green now. Some bills are orangish. Some have purple numbers.

well yeah, i see american money everyday so i know the “new” (not-so-new any more) bills have faint colors in them, i.e. twenties fade to a peachy color in the middle, fives have a big bluish/purplish 5 on one side.
