croque monsieur

these are about to go in our homemade caesar salad (fil does the dressing, mustard and anchovy paste and garlic mmm mmm mmm)

  1. Can I request the recipe for the dressing, please? I make ceasar salad for dinner a couple times a month, but just buy the dressing.

  2. anchovy paste, dijon mustard with whole seeds, Worcestershire, tabasco, and garlic. whip/whisk it all together in a silver bowl. you could also use a raw egg but it isn’t necessary, and is actually better w/o. you can find anchovy paste near the seafood area of your grocery store.

  3. raymi forgot to mention really nice olive oil (using high quality stuff really makes a difference). a raw egg yolk seems to be a common ingredient in a lot of recipes but i prefer it without.
