Q: You periodically post pictures of yourself in the nude. I’m guessing this attracts a certain audience that visits for this purpose and this purpose alone. If you stopped posting these pix, how many regular visitors to you suspect you’d lose?

A: i rarely post nudes my hits have not declined, my blog is more than my tits, granted a lot of retards read my blog but i see it my blog is for the retarded, it’s like a learning manual for life or an AA meeting that never ends.

source here too. apparently my phonin’ it in wasn’t as sneaky as had initially thought.

  1. raymi i like your blog a lot and i feel for you.
you may use the blog for catharsis but purging is not enough.
you need constructive feedback and i am encouraging you to talk to a therapist.
the blog, your family, your friends, they can’t help you they way a trained professional can.
you can and should be happy again. happy with yourself.

  2. My experience: People looking for tits are usually drive-bys instead of regular visitors. The ones that do become regular visitors stick around FOREVER being creepy voyeurs no matter what you post. Hoping and hoping and hoping. I don’t fucking know. They’ve got the old stuff backed up on their hard drive anyway. They’re also the ones who follow you on Twitter who have two posts and only follow you, three porn stars, and iJustine. Blech!

  3. Life is about choice and making decisions. I made a decision like you to leave an externally picture perfect life, internally rotten without affection. That was almost 11 years ago. I am over it. It was the right thing for me. I have affection and clarity 85% of the time the rest is just reality oh yea and my lil boy will be 2 tomorrow…yay! jx

  4. I see this blog is a constantly evolving art experiment. You’re a pioneer in figuring out the expressive possibilities of this medium, and self-expression always involves self- exploration. Why people get fixated on the nudity is beyond me.

I can count on one hand the number of nudes you’ve posted in the past year (or longer) and on the rare occasion when you do post a “nude” it’s never a suggestive pose in a provocative outfit, but rather just a reflection of the same personal honesty you show in your writing, which, in the end, is a far more compelling reason to visit this site than your nipples.

That’s not to say the pictures aren’t sexy, but given the fact that there are thousands of free porn sites — not to mention places like flickr where you can see millions of revealing images from “real” people — I can’t imagine anyone coming to this blog on a regular basis JUST to see you naked. After all, Internet addicts aren’t exactly known for their long attention spans.

  5. Jamie gets it right
and you do get constructive feedback from your friends and family
but its helpful to keep one foot in the door with a “good therapist”
in fact, the ones that seek one out, are the bravest souls
it helps to keep one “real”
