Kate is Canada’s biggest political blogger – which is a bit of a shame because she’s so over the top conservative.

i’m pretty annoyed that this is taking up things raymi normally likes doing and thinking about time like taking pictures of hot dogs and writing about tv i watch, things the nation should be concerning themself about and not what depressing pointless bill was passed that will kill the planet a little bit more or how homosexuality is a mental disorder. anyway.

and how i only have 490 votes, that boggles me, everyone who voted thank you, everyone who didn’t, shame shame shame, i want to block you from my blog, you don’t deserve to be here.

Normally I like to stay out of intarweb drama but this sort of needs to be said. First of all, most people don’t understand Raymi’s site…or see the art of it. (Which is fine. Who cares. Art and comedy is personal. Not everyone is meant to get it.) Which I have said for years. However, I do completely understand dead animals blog and here is where I have a problem with it.

If she was contributing original political banter/material/insight, no matter her opinion, I would respect her contribution to the internet. But to not actually take a stance, and just link other people’s work and then have that sort of superiority complex is a bit unreal to me. First of all, it’s the intarweb, not CNN. And don’t get me wrong, i am all about linking to other sites of interesting natures on a site. I used to do it with two sites of mine back in the day (none of which were political btw). But just keep in mind that her website is not a political opinion site, so much as a vacuum of links to OTHER people’s creativity and insight.

My annoyance lies in that I truly believe she doesn’t actually have an original thought in her head.

Tony and I have on many occasions discussed how having a comment section on Raymi’s site takes away from what she does here. Alot of people don’t “get it”…it’s above their head for the most part, or at least until they become more regular viewers and start to see the genius and hilarity behind it. And the thing is, Raymi doesn’t care if you hate her or her site. In fact she encourages you to do so. Hate on.

Anyway, I am not one to start flame wars but I just find it pretty hilarious that someone can delude themselves into finding themselves that important to the internets. Write a personal rant for me, dead animals lady and then maybe you can colour me impressed.
