everyone with long hair looks better, the colour is irrelevant.

this was a great bender of a day.

ok i just figured out who the slammer of the door here is (not purposeful door slamming, just drafts) and it’s the new young mother next door. why do i feel bad about lecturing her on door etiquette just cos she’s a new mother? eff that, learn how to open and close doors like a human being not a childish monster. i just threw a shirt on inside out cos i’m pmstress rage to go down and confront, listened and waited and sure enough another slam right from next door so now i know it’s her. UGHHHHHHHHHH. i will simmer in rage until that baby is a toddler then it’s go time.

i only make mention of it cos this happens EVERYDAY at the same time, probably post baby stroller walk and all the loading/unloading of that crap up the stairs however, why should your motherhood interfere with my studies (jerking off, etc) right? if it were the other naybe i’d spare no seconds in a hey what’s up STOP DOING THAT mention (no i wouldn’t cos they’re already trying to be nice to us with a wine bottle cos of their dog through the deck fence trying to attack stella, meanwhile she is just at fault)(really it’s cos they fight and yell like mental and the chick is trying to buy our love and cancel out her evil, not gonna work, you’re a trollop) yet when i go down there to finally man-up and deal with it diplomatically (dressed like dazed and confused’s simone) i wimp out because i picture baby mobiles and difficult quintuplets all crying and diaper mountains then i just got over it, but i know it will piss me off again tomorrow at the same f–ing time so what to do? i think i’m passed the age of passive aggressive notes and this wasn’t even a thing til i sat down and started blogging it ok anyway hello hi folks nice to see you on my blog today. haha.

  1. i like that you change your look, and i have no preference. though i did enjoy your stint as a brunette when you were transitioning to blonde.

  2. I feel ya. I hate when people ask when I’m gonna be blonde again, or make stupid comments. It’s my damn hair, I’ll do what I want. The peanut gallery can suck it. :)

  3. beautiful either way but i must say, i am quite partial to the blonde :)

boo to door slamming. although, that’s super cute that you don’t want to make mention of it just cause she’s a new mama haha. as a new mama though i can attest to the fact that sometimes it is a gamble getting shit through the door (car seats, stroller, baby, etc) however, constant door slamming would = annoyance no matter who it is.

  4. if it was long and purple people wouldn’t say i looked good with purple hair, they’d say i looked good with long hair. if my platinum could grow faster i would make it.

    arran not mad not mad!

  5. Young mother or not, just tell her it’s rude to let the door slam like that and if she could please close the door (close enough) that it doesn’t slam like that.

    Slamming doors make me jump!

  6. you look better as a brunette. sorry for the truth. Much more sophisticated, mysterious, and sexy with dark hair.

  7. Hair length and color can both be irrelevant but some combinations suit people better than others. I think the length of your hair is beautiful. However, if I compared which holds my gaze longer (dark hair vs. blonde), your dark hair photos win.

  8. blond makes you look younger, softens the face. dark ages it. ZERO people complimented my hair when it was black. missed the boat.

  9. I like it blond, blonds have more fun, REALLY, i believe it! You look happy and healthy! XO

  10. I think you should go red. Join the ginger tribe. We’re going extinct, you know?

Also, think about it like this, if you don’t confront young mother on door slamming, she will raise ANOTHER generation of door slammers. No one wants that!

  11. You know those brunettes that scoff at the notion that blonds have more fun? They’re full of (jealous) shit and definitely aren’t bold enough to leave the dark side.

That said, slamming doors isn’t cool whether you’re a new mom (like your neighbour) or a complete ASSHOLE drug dealer with his minions coming and going at all hours of the day (like my neighbour). The only difference between you and me is that I’m too scared to even leave a passive aggressive note because one of them will probably pop a cap in my ass. No, really.

  12. Have to say, my sister had a baby last year and the experiences I’ve had with the stroller have been hazardous at best… I’m either slamming doors, walking into things, or slamming the poorbaby’s stroller right into something… This may be more of a statement of my grace…

  13. You should go back to red. I kid, I kid. You’re pretty no matter what your hair is doing, but I always thought your eyes were more “wow!” with your dark hair.

  14. Both are good looking, but I don’t know… the blonde is just so addictive, no? I may be this way till I die for that reason. I vote blonde FTW.

  15. LETS GET TOGETHER AND BENDER

so many funny memories from that day

you’re lucky that both colours suit you. win-win. not everyone is that lucky. aka emma stone.

  16. every girl should give it all a whirl and go with what makes her feel the most sexy.
HOWEVER, after seeing your pics, dark hair is sooo much more flattering on you!! Perhaps not black, but a deep, rich, warm brown to really compliment your skin.
Blonde, especially bleach blonde, is such a difficult color and can look very harsh on the face.

Just my two cents, but again, you should try it all once in life and look great either way.
    xo

  17. to each their own :)
both colors are tough on the face. keeping it natural is always a girl’s best bet.

  18. You look good either way Raymi. I’m more used to the original dark hair because I’ve followed you for ages, but the newer legally blond look is just as good.PS: you could go both ways with half blond half black – a beautiful bipolar babe ;-)

  19. I can’t say I prefer one colour over the other, but I do think the carpet should match the drapes, or there should be no carpet :)
