prairie home companion

my ego pure stroked here. didn’t post much today went on the road with the old man. lots of stories to share later.

fil’s take on my “departure” from what i normally wear is well, just that? not really a fan. whatever, he’s a dude. he couldn’t come up with one compliment yesterday other than whimsical, which doesn’t really count. there’s a few others i haven’t taken pictures of yet i’m waiting for penelope cruz to invite me over to her cocaine party from that scene in blow first.

  1. the scariest(/most awesome?) thing about the mushroom one is that it seems to have little eyes bugging out all over it… that being said, i like the first (blue) one the best :)
    smokin’.

  2. The blue one is way too Dorothy Wizard of Oz. I love the green one. The mushroom dress is interesting, but you really need to know your mushrooms before you pick them.

  3. sheena we ate at huethers and it was CRAP ps the blue dorothy number is meant to be like that scene in pet cemetery when the mother remembers her dying ill sister ugh scary nitemares! in other words – awesome.

  4. I like the green dress best – you look good in green girl!
PS: make the most of the last 6 weeks of winter.

  5. Bat For Lashes is coming to town. From Chromewaves:

I need no such persuasion to get excited for the return of Bat For Lashes (pictured). Her second album Two Suns, which will feature unlikely guests Scott Walker and Yeasayer, is coming out on April 6 and following a set of European dates will come some North American ones. In addition to a previously announced New York and Philadelphia dates, she will be in Toronto on April 25 for a show at the Mod Club, tickets $15. Their last show here in September 2007 was amazing, no reason to believe this one will be anything less. Rolling Stone talks to Natasha Khan about the split personality conceit behind her new record while MTV has a video interview.

  6. Aw I saw you vamping on the 69 vintage blog, very nice. I love the dresses. You and your long dark hair can 100% do the green flower printed 60’s maxi dress. Work.
The Praire dress is fab too. I have a total thing for prairie dresses for reals… I was Laura Ingles in my pink one like that for L’alloween.
    Stay Gold, xxox
