I was wondering what happened with the saga of the Dutch guy! Yes, when someone in a LDR is spending money on travel without you, that is a huge warning sign. Certain Dutchies can also be inflexible on the matter of relocation; not all, but some, will act like leaving their homeland is a death sentence. A friend of mine is getting married to a Dutch guy after a 7 year long distance relationship, and while I’m a fan of them as a couple, that duration of time spent apart yet in a relationship seems insane to me. They traveled to see each other at least twice a year and nowhere else. A huge part of the lag was them deciding on who would break down first and leave their home country.
