Embossing was not performed on these cards actually.
It’s been letter pressed with hot pink foil…we experimented with different foils and passes. Pressure from stamping will give a sense of depth on thick stock.
The paper is Curious Touch–you’ll just have to be lucky to receive this card to explain what that’s like (very limited run)…think velvet but creamy.

Embossing is pressed from the back of the card that pumps/gives a relief to the the paper raised.

These cards were stamped from the front and with enough pressure it may feel like a ‘Deboss’ and that’s what we were experimenting with–how much pressure can be mixed with heat and still look effective.
