I hope you have a great writing/disappearing time. You have such a driving, compelling voice, and clearly (I say never having met you) are happiest putting words down on the page. The only thing you have to ignore is the fear that you won’t be able to write it all out this time either. Good luck!

I agree with your Mom on the voice recorder. It’s awkward at first, but I forced myself to get over that, because I found that I often have thoughts going too fast to type, and babbling it out aloud into the recorder is the best way to capture it, or at least most of it. I hope things go well for you, you are making a brave move.

so, i am the midst and almost done with travels after a season in austin texas… after bellingham… and now i am in reno visiting an old friend that you do have some contact with and maybe its not always super pleasant. i dont really know but i do know this… i am back on the west coast to open a greek style taverna… the money is there and i was a chef all the way through college and after even. i recently have been teaching elementary school but i am ready to own my own business and do it in such a way that you can feel antiquity… a true taverna in essence.
i write knowing some of your history and with the curious nature of what suggestions you might have… and i will be the first to admit that in my opinion you have somewhat of a royal blood line… all compliments aside… i hope you have time to write, if not… welp, down goes sun.

Have a great week away. I still think you should bring that little microphone/tape recorder along with you. Sometimes you can have your best thoughts while out walking alone, clearing your head.

And if guys are pressuring you to make a decision on the second date, then they will drive you nuts forever.
Its called controlling/needy.
And you should take as much time as you want and need in your search for “the next one”
This isn’t a race.
