I lightened mine as well about a week ago they were pretty dark brown at first and I was worried about really obvious dark roots and “do the curtains match the carpet match the hallway runners etc” jokes, but it looks to me like the new hairs grow in one by one in different places so everything blends and it’s not hugely noticeable.
