I am passionate about milkweed. It contains a key ingredient for one of my Paleo hobbies. When all the fluff is blown from the pod, the long spungy ovum strip that the fluff was connected to can be dried out and is a very effective tinder for flint and steel fire starting. A single dry ovum will smolder for about five minutes after it takes a spark.You just had to know that didn’t you.
