i love you so much it’s retarded

the interior paper design is v cute also. this is a gift, not for me, and here is a secret i do not “get” the horse thing, like, at all. they kinda terrify me. i’ve only ever been on one once when i was a little kid, with my brother, we went around this trail and i was so nervous i almost fainted and i’m pretty sure i cried the entire time my parents had to force me on. there’s a picture of this too and the expression on my face is pure terror. fil might ride a horse tomorrow. me? pass. no christopher reevesing over here k. i think my nerves would just freak any horse right out and i’d get bucked and there is no convincing me otherwise. i’d rather jump out of a plane. yeah it’s safe to say i have myself a little horse phobia.

  1. I’m with you on the horse/horse riding phobia. Those guys are unpredictable and sketchy. And this is coming from someone who’s ridden an elephant and a camel.

  2. I, too, have never understood the horse thing. They make lousy house pets and as a tool of war, frankly, they are obsolete.

  3. the first time i rode a horse it took off through a trailer park with me on it.

also i feel so sad for that elephant in the glass!

  4. Oh yeah- A horsie stepped ON MY FOOT ONCE and try to push a single-minded horse off of you sometime. Left a bruise is all. I don’t like bitey horses.

  5. not with you guys on the horses i’m afraid. you should talk to my horse-training friend who keeps riding etc. even though she nearly died from a concussion (unrelated to horses).

i love the “Hell No” piece – who does it?

  6. aw fuck, that little penny farthing/tooth combo has got me all weak in the knees… plus, those little felt apples– jesus! killed by adorable.

  7. On my parents’ farm, a big black stallion named Midnight reared up and smashed one of his hooves into my skull. There was blood everywhere, and I got a quick ride into hospital where they had to put quite a few stitches in my head and admit me for concussion. Before that, I was OK with horses. Now I’m very wary of them!
